Sinopsis de LOS DICCIONARIOS DEL ESPAÑOL EN SU PERSPECTIVA HISTORICA
Founded on the basic principles of contemporary linguistic historiography, this monograph constitutes an approach to the principle eras that constitute the discourse of Spanish lexicography since its earliest manifestations in the infancy of Humanism to the current edition of the Diccionario de la Real Academia Española (Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy). This is an all-encompassing study that, in addition to highlighting the culminating points in our lexicographic tradition, undertakes the description of numerous works heretofore untouched by specialized research and opens new perspectives into the understanding of the history, procedures and methods of lexicographic work in the Spanish language.
