Holly Ringland creció descalza y salvaje en el jardín tropical de su madre en la costa este de Australia. A los nueve años, su amor por los paisajes, las culturas y las historias se profundizó durante un viaje de dos años con su familia por Norteamérica, viviendo en una caravana y viajando de un parque nacional a otro.
