Hans-Christian Schmidt y Andreas Német, ambos nacidos en 1973 en Alemania, tienen un total de cuatro hijos fantásticos y con eso estaría ya dicho lo más importante. Pero, aparte de eso, ellos escriben e ilustran libros infantiles y también componen canciones. Hans-Christian los escribe y Andreas los ilustra, y juntos tocan sus canciones en el grupo Firlefanz und Grete.
