El interés de esta investigación va a centrarse en la ficción. Las novelas de Fay Weldon conforman un mundo muy particular, encontrándose gran variedad, algunas son realistas como la biografía de Práxis. Cabe incluir a Fay Weldon como representante de la voz de un presente social y personal y de los tiempos modernos: la metaficcion, mostrandonos como la ficcion literaria crea sus mundos imaginarios.The interest of this investigation is going to focus on fiction. Fay Weldons novelsconform a very particular world, finding a huge variety, some of them are realistic, as the biography of Praxis. This may include Fay Weldon as representative of the voice of a social and personal present, and of the modern times: metafiction, showing us how literary fiction creates its imaginary worlds.

En este trabajo se analiza Práxis, una de las novelas de la escritora británica Fay Weldon. Dos consideraciones importantes han de tenerse en cuenta: primero, el seguimiento de una de las corrientes de la teoria post-estructuralista, y la segunda, la division de la obra en codigos, lo que precisamente va a permitir descodificarla. La finalidad de este estudio es explicar el hecho de la escritura moderna desde una perspectiva diferente.AbstractThis work analyses one of the novels of the British writer Fay Weldon, concretely, Praxis. Two important considerations have to be taken into account. The first one is the monitoring of one of the theories of post-structuralist literary genre, and the second one is the division of the work in codes, which precisely, is going to be decoded. The goal of this study is to explain the modern handwriting from a contrastive perspective.
