I cannot even begin to fathom how is this book so widely loved, or how it is so easily recommended to every single person on the internet. It is not only that it covers all possible triggering topics (pedophilia, sexual and physical abuse, cutting and drug abuse among others), but that it includes them in such and unrealistic and purposeless way. However, I read it through and through just out of mere vicious curiosity about how the author was going to end this painly never-ending-story of suffering for the sake of it. Noone can deny the fact that Hanya has the talent, i wouldn't have read all 700 pages long if it wasn't this way, she knows how to really dig into the psyche of the characters. And for the briefest moment at the begining of the book i thought it was gonna be amazing just because of how real the relationships between the four of them felt. Nevertheless, i'm left horrified at the end of it by how sadistic the evolution of it all feels, and by how i couldn't love any of the characters. I leave with the sensation that i will be rethinking about this one for a long time after i finished it, but with the worst taste i could get.

Muy bien escrito, me deprimía muy bien, pero no busco eso ahora.

Un libro con descripciones tan vívidas y tan bien tejidas de las vidas y lo que les rodea a los protagonistas principales, que siempre te acompaña un pellizquito dentro. Autora digna de encontrarse entre los clásicos universales.

Completamente espectacular al acabarlo sientes un vacío enorme de lo buena que ha sido la novela

Libro genial, aunque bastante duro y muy gráfico con descripciones de abuso de varios tipos, incluso a menores. Algunas partes eran tan intensas de leer que uno casi se lo deja de creer pero la verdad es que cuando llegas al final deseas que el libro fuera más largo.
