This was my first Abby Jimenez book and I was really eager to read this author. Her writing and characters trapped me from the go and couldn't stop reading, I especially loved her humour in this. The topics and mental talk in the novel were also well woven in. However, after the first third of the book it felt repetitive and miscommunication driven, which wasn't quite for me. I will still be reading the rest of the books in the interconnected series though!
