Escrito por Wilhelm Busch


(Wiedensahl, 1832 - Mechtshausen, 1908) ha pasado a la historia como autor de “Max y Moritz”, obra gráfica con textos en verso publicada en 1865 y que sería una de las grandes fuentes de inspiración del cómic. Busch fue también un notable poeta y pintor. Hijo mayor de una familia de comerciantes, ingresó en 1852 en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Amberes, donde recibió la influencia de los pintores flamencos de los siglos XVI y XVII. El tifus interrumpió sus estudios un año después y, al volver a casa, comenzó a coleccionar cuentos y canciones populares para ilustrarlos. Colaboró con los periódicos satíricos "Fliegende Blätter" y "Münchner Bilderbogen", donde publicaría "Max y Moritz" y muchas otras obras, entre ellas “Juanito diminuto”.
