Fairy tale that has several versions, oral and written, ancient and modern, which come from various parts of the world, especially the Eurasian continent. The form best known of Cinderella story in the West, belongs to the frenchman Charles Perrrault, who wrote in 1697 a version of the story transmitted through oral tradition.
