Andy Mulligan was brought up in south London. He has taught in the Philippines, India, Brazil, Vietnam and the UK. His first novel, Ribblestrop, was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Books Prize, and his second won the Guardian Childrens Fiction Prize.
