Lucy Caldwell (Belfast, 1981) es una de las voces más importantes de la literatura irlandesa actual. Es autora de tres novelas, dos libros de relatos, diversas obras de teatro y dramas radiofónicos, así como editora de un libro de historias cortas que conforma un mapa perfecto de la literatura irlandesa contemporánea. Ha sido galardonada con el premio Dylan Thomas dos veces, el Rooney Prize de literatura irlandesa y el George Devine, entre muchos otros. En 2018 fue nombrada miembro de la Royal Society of Literature.
