Andrew O’Hagan (Glasgow, 1968) es el autor de una extensa obra, entre la que destacan el ensayo La vida secreta (2017) y las novelas Padres nuestros (1999), Personalidad (2003), Quédate a mi lado (2006), Vida y opiniones del perro Maf y de su amiga Marilyn Monroe (2010), The Illuminations (2015), Mayflies (2020) y Caledonian Road (2024; Libros del Asteroide, 2025), considerado uno de los libros del año por The Sunday Times, The Spectator, The Times Literary Supplement, The Independent, The Scotsman y The New Yorker. Ha sido nominado tres veces al premio Booker, elegido uno de los mejores escritores británicos jóvenes de 2003 por la revista Granta y ha recibido el premio E. M. Forster de la Academia Americana de las Artes y las Letras. Sus libros se han traducido a más de quince idiomas. Actualmente es editor de la revista London Review of Books y miembro de la Royal Society of Literature.
