La Entrevista Diagnóstica para los Trastornos de Ansiedad y Relacionados para DSM-5 (ADIS-5-C/P), tanto la “versión de familia” como la “versión de niños, niñas y adolescentes”, ha sido actualizada para su uso en práctica clínica y en investigación con el objetivo de proporcionar un diagnóstico diferencial para una amplia variedad de trastornos de salud mental en niños, niñas y adolescentes, a la vez que permite establecer el historial de salud mental. Estas versiones se basan en la quinta edición del Manual Diagnóstico y Estadístico de los Trastornos Mentales de la Asociación Estadounidense de Psiquiatría (DSM-5). La ADIS-5-C/P proporciona datos cuantitativos sobre la etiología, curso, gravedad y presencia de síntomas en trastornos mentales. Estas versiones se complementan con el “Manual de la persona entrevistadora”, el cual facilita información sobre las adaptaciones de la ADIS al DSM-5, la estructura, formato y los procedimientos diagnósticos de la ADIS, y permite a la persona entrevistadora poder establecer un diagnóstico diferencial y el historial actual de trastornos mentales del niño, la niña y adolescente.

The Diagnostic Interview for Anxiety and Related Disorders for DSM-5 (ADIS-5-C/P), both the ‘Family Version’ and the ‘Children and Adolescents Version’ has been updated for use in clinical practice and research to provide a differential diagnosis for a wide variety of mental health disorders in children and adolescents while allowing for the establishment of a mental health history. These versions are based on the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders of the American Psychiatric Association (DSM-5). The ADIS-5-C/P provides quantitative data on the etiology, course, severity, and presence of symptoms in mental disorders. These versions are complemented by the ‘Interviewer’s Manual,’ which provides information on the adaptations of the ADIS to the DSM-5, the structure, format, and diagnostic procedures of the ADIS allowing the interviewer to establish a differential diagnosis and the current history of mental disorders in children and adolescents.
