This book on the history of German philosophy of the nineteenth and twentieth century stems from the lessons of contemporary thought in recent years the authors have conducted in the framework of the study of philosophy at the University of Girona. He does not address, therefore, historians of philosophy or experts in some of the authors or schools of contemporary German philosophy, but who wants to be a compendium for students and other interested persons. It should be understood as an introductory manual. The aim is to summarize the most essential in the overall historical material, classify, sort and place in the context of German history, to help guide students. The book provides guidelines that seek only to make available to students criteria to make informed decisions for themselves what aspects or moments of German philosophy wish to deepen.\n
