Nora Krug es una autora e ilustradora germano-estadounidense, que también trabaja como profesora asociada de ilustración en la Parsons School of Design de Nueva York. Ha recibido becas de Fulbright y de las fundaciones John Simon Guggenheim Memorial, Pollock-Krasner y Maurice Sendak, entre otras. Su trabajo ha aparecido en publicaciones como The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde diplomatique y A Public Space, y en antologías publicadas por Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Simon & Schuster y Chronicle Libros. El conjunto de su obra ha sido reconocido con el Premio del Círculo Nacional de Críticos de Libros de 2019, el Premio de Novela Gráfica Lynd Ward y el oro del Club de Directores de Arte, entre otros. Su memoir gráfica Heimat (Salamandra Graphic, 2021) fue elegida mejor libro del año por The New York Times, The Guardian y NPR, entre otros.
