The main character in this first book is Àinos De Belle. She is from Catalonia and lives in Barcelona with her boyfriend. She is a tremendous imaginative person who spends lot of time thinking about places that she calls, in particular, "my own world". In fact, she loves building castles in the sky. She uses her thoughts to create situations that she would like to live against the real life that she lives in.
