Starting Skills in English Vocabulary and Grammar Part B Teacher's Book Starting Skills in English is specially designed for false beginners and remedial learners. It is divided into two parts, A and B. Students can enter the course at A or B level. Each part provides at least 150 hours' tuition. The whole course, therefore, provides at least 300 hours' tuition. There are three books in each part: Listening and Speaking, Reading and Writing, Vocabulary and Grammar. It is assumed that most users of the course will teach the books in this order, although it is not essential. The majority of the material in the third book could be set as self-study. This material is aimed at students with an IELTS level of 3.0. The level of this course is equivalent to an approximate TOEFL score of 400.
