Jessie Burton (Londres, 1982) estudió en la Universidad de Oxford y en la Central School of Speech and Drama, y trabajó como actriz y secretaria de dirección antes de dedicarse a la literatura. La casa de las miniaturas (Salamandra, 2015), su ópera prima, vendió más de un millón de ejemplares el primer año de su publicación, se tradujo a treinta y seis idiomas y se adaptó como serie para la BBC One.
