In this Regency-era romance the beautiful Freyja Bedwyn and the handsome Joshua Moore enter into a marriage of convenience mainly to save Joshua from being forced to marry his cousin. Their scheme is threatened, however, when Joshua's vengeful aunt (who intended that Joshua marry her daughter) accuses the pair of murder. As Freyja and Joshua struggle to prove their innocence, they find themselves falling truly in love with each other.
