Desolations Abomination The Antichrist will demand worship from everyone on the planet (Rev. 13). This is the abomination that will bring about enormous desolation. This image will be given the ability to breathe and speak by a demon (Rev. 13:14-15). When the Antichrist places this idol in the Jerusalem temple, he will claim to be God. Without worshiping the Antichrist in front of this image, no one will be able to purchase or trade (Rev. 13:16-18). Those who resist will be hunted down as state criminals and face martyrdom. The abomination of desolation system, which will mobilize and finance the Antichrists global worship movement (Rev. 13:13-18), will include the image of the Beast and the mark of the Beast. Antichrists adherents will be mobilized by the Beasts visage, and those who resist will be punished. The Beasts mark will offer financial support for the Antichrists worship movement while punishing those who refuse. The word "advent" comes from the Latin word adventus, which meaning "arrival,""coming," or "presence." Both the first and second comings of Jesus are referred to as the first and second advent.
