I know my mother loves me and Im sure she means well planning a big baby shower for me, but she seems to have forgotten our family is the worst. The detectives bust into my already epically bad baby shower to pull Declan (mate, baby-daddy, and werewolf Alpha of the Big Sure Pack) into the forest to check the remains of a hiker who appears to have been mauled by a wolf.
As Im ready to give birth any minute, Im told to stay home. Meaning, I, of course, go with him. Hes not the boss of me.
