This is the first such work available in English translation of Francis Wolff, professor of Philosophy at the École Normale Supérieur of Paris. In addition to his writings on Classical, Western and Contemporary philosophy, he has published several volumes on tauromaquia in France and Spain. In 2011 he participated in the drafting of the charter to petition the inscription of tauromaquia for inclusion on the list of French cultural immaterial heritage.
