Oblivious to the faceless crowd that follows changing fashions, Cándido feels out of place,but tries to go unnoticed; he’s aware of the sense of insecurity and loneliness comes about as a result of being ignored.And although the world has become a hostile place to nature and people, the positive thing is that there is always a meetingpoint that unites Cándido and everybody else. Fran Pintadera es NARRADOR ORAL, dinamizador de TEATRO SOCIAL y ESCRITOR de literatura infantil. Licenciado en Psicopedagogía, Diplomado en Educación Social por la UCLM y Técnico Superior en Integración Social. Desde hace años su oficio es contar historias y acompañar a que otros puedan contar la suya. El humor, las posibilidades de la fantasía y la belleza de lo cotidiano son los ingredientes fundamentales de sus recetas artísticas. Como narrador ha participado en un gran número de festivales de ámbito nacional, en multitud de Ferias del Libro y en bibliotecas, circuitos y programaciones culturales de casi todo el territorio nacional. Como escritor ha publicado con diferentes editoriales como Edelvives, SM, Kalandraka, Ekaré, Takatuka, Akiara Books, Libre Albedrío, Tres Tigres Tristes o La Guarida. Su obra se ha traducido en países como China, Turquía, Canadá, EEUU, Grecia, Alemania o Japón. Ha recibido, entre otros, el XIV Premio Poesía Infantil Luna de Aire, el XI Premio Compostela de Álbum Ilustrado, el Premio Nacional 2018 Obra mejor editada, el Premio Banco del Libro 2022 Categoría Poesía o el Premio IBBY Bélgica 2024 a la mejor obra de traducción.
