“Junil a les terres dels bàrbars” is a very well written story about a young girl who is struggling in the roman empire. I had bought this book for a Catalan subject and I didn’t have any hopes in that book, but I started to enjoy the story so much as fast as I started to empathize with the characters. It is a very surprising reading where it is hard to guess what will happen next. Also, it is a very frenetic book, because all events happen in a just a few pages. In spite of that, this book uses a very hard Catalan vocabulary even for Catalan native speakers. It could be a positive thing because in nearly all the pages you can discover some new words that you don’t know about, but I found it quite distracting as they are too many unused words that sometimes make impossible to understand what is happening without a dictionary. Although, I think that it is a very good reading for those who are looking for an unusual story about how did the people in the past to survive despite the circumstances of the time.

UNA HISTORIA CON UN ACTOR CLASICO , ME HA GUSTADO MUCHO , ES UN LIBRO UN POCO TURBIO , QUE ESTA BASADO EN HISTORIAS ANTIGUAS QUE HOY EN DIA SERIAN MAS DE PECADO O PEDRASTA.
