Moby Dick tells the story of Captain Ahab and his crew. They live and work on a ship that hunts for whales. Captain Ahab wants to find a giant, white whale that ate his leg the last time they met. He is obsessed and his crew are terrified of the whale. During the book, the Captain Ahabs ship meets other ships and they all talk abaut the white whale. Eventually they will find the whale in a tragic conclusion.

Finalmente se estableció en tierra firme en 1847. Acabó sus días en 1891 sumido en el olvido y en la precariedad económica.
