Just before Christmas, a wicked sorcerer named Morendo "disguised as a crow"steals all the sounds from a quiet little town and locks them away. He wants silence to reign and voices to vanish. When Maria, a young girl, loses the music from her piano, kind-hearted elves decide to help. They turn to Sophia, awise old owl who knows Morendo s secret and how he might be defeated.
