This historical microstudy reconstructs in detail the destruction of Sandomierzs Jewish community, from the Wehrmachts occupation of the city in September 1939 to the dissolution of the last Jewish labor group in Mokoszyn in January 1944. To this end, it draws on nearly 150 witness statements from Jewish eyewitnesses in Sandomierz, as well as all relevant documents from the State Archive in Kielce, Sandomierz Branch.
