It is the countryside of Mallorca, off the beaten tracks of tourism that Jörg Heieck was most interested in capturing. Yet he also created impressive panoramic views of Palma, the island's capital and of the mountain villages in the interior. Heieck's severe style of black-and-white photography conveys an image of Germany's favourite island, as it has never been seen before.
