This book analyzes the figure of the Master of Vielha, one of the most prolific painters in Aragon and Catalonia at the end of the Gothic period. The book situates him within the general artistic landscape of his time and establishes a catalogue of his work. Because of his style, he has sometimes been considered a disciple of Pere Garcia de Benavarri (1445-1485), which has moved the author to propose an identification with the painter Bartomeu Garcia (1484-1496), supposedly the son or descendent of the former.
