I received an advance review copy for free from the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. First, I got to say this is my first Stephanie's book, meaning that most of the characters are mentioned here, I have no idea what they were up to before. Regardless of that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love Jordan's arc, of finding her place, her people, settling and letting people in, to find her family in all senses. There's also a plot point that I liked because it was respected and built on, in the sense that in spite of that their relationship can work, especially I loved that it was respected in the epilogue of this story. Also, Jordan, thinking she wasn't enough for something serious, girl, I wanna wrap you in a freking blanket. Tate was perfect, honestly, that man with his struggles, and always trying to provide the best for his daughter. Yet, he doesn't let himself indulge in anything that could bring him pleasure or joy. I love that man. Bea and Phoebe were my faves, all the awards to those two icons. Also, I have to mention that I adored the way the audiobook was made. I was so impressed by Vanessa Edwin and Aaron Shedlock's interpretation of not only the main characters but the secondary ones. Moreover, their chemistry was on point. Mic drop. Now I have to get into reading all the books before this, because these people were so much fun.
