Garth Greenwell (Louisville, 1978) ganó el Miami University Press Novel Prize en 2010 y quedó finalista del premio Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction con Mitko, un relato breve que se convirtió en la primera parte de Lo que te pertenece. Este debut novelístico, traducido a una docena de lenguas, ganó el British Book Award y fue nominado para el National Book Award, así como finalista de otros seis premios, entre los cuales se encuentran el PEN/Faulkner Award y el Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Lo que te pertenece fue también seleccionada como una de las mejores novelas del 2016 por The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Paris Review, Esquire y Vulture, entre otros medios.
